At CB we believe in doing business differently, so apart from helping our clients achieve fantastic results, every month, we give some of our time to help local charities excel with free marketing and find opportunities to be more environmentally-friendly. Read on for a lowdon on our charity commitment and our sustainability activities.

CB Charity Commitment

We offer 2 Sussex-based charities free marketing during 12 months.

The two chosen charities of the year are selected for their great work and desire to have a better digital footprint, as well as:

  • A real enthusiasm for digital
  • Are already active digitally and have a desire to do it better
  • Hold and cherish the same values & ethical beliefs we do
  • Are lucky enough to have a top-level structure (for example a board, trustees or management) to help drive the project(s) forward
  • Are small enough that our support will make a real difference and free up members of the team to concentrate on fundraising
  • Focus on Sussex.
Each chosen charity gets:
🌟 5 hrs per month of free marketing services from any of the digital services we offer, during 12 months.

🌟 Promotional exposure through the Creative Blend marketing channels including Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn

Proudly supporting in 2022/2023:

We aim to make a big difference where it matters most. With our charity commitment, we’ve designed websites for the Real Talk Grassroots Suicide Prevention campaign, provided regular digital training for the Whoopsadaisy Team or supported the Little Green Pig Team with their fundraising campaigns. This means more charities can help support people who really need it and if we play even a small part in this, we’ve succeeded.

2024 applications will open in the new year

Previous charities we've helped include:

CB sustainability commitment

1,035 trees planted

6.08t of CO2e avoided

21 international projects funded

A year and a half ago we embarked on a journey to develop our sustainability efforts to reduce our business carbon emissions and help local projects all over the world.

We chose to plant trees as they aid in the restoration of ecosystems, capturing and storing additional carbon in soil and plant biomass, and enhancing biodiversity. Reforestation initiatives offer dual advantages for local residents, fostering employment, gender parity, fresh revenue avenues, a wider array of nutritional sources for a healthier diet, and better community facilities.

As part of our commitment, we’ve supported the prevention of 6.08 tCO2e from being emitted through 21 verified carbon avoidance projects. This is equivalent to:

    • 4 long haul flights

    • 16 metres2 of sea ice saved

    • 13,199 miles driven in a car
