Did you know that we are a digital agency with a charity commitment? Yup. This means every year we choose to support two local charities with their digital marketing ? for free. We allocate 10 hours each month helping local charities improve their digital footprint, empowering them, training them and helping them to make a bigger impact. Because we believe doing business is not just about earning a living ? it?s about giving back to our community.
Following our charity commitment, in 2018 we supported the incredible Grassroots Suicide Prevention and Whoopsadaisy and we?re really proud of all the work we achieved together – Our Grant even became a trustee at Whoopsadaisy!
And now the big reveal. We?re thrilled to announce that the charities we?ve chosen to support in the next twelve months are YMCA Right Here and Little Green Pig. Let us tell you a little bit more about them:
YMCA – Right Here Project
YMCA Right Here is a health and wellbeing charity project that aims to improve the lives of young people aged 12-25 throughout Brighton and Hove. Everything they do is led, created and delivered with a group of ?Project Champions? aged 16-25-year-olds who volunteer with them (they have over 35!).
Some of their achievements include producing information and help for young people to talk about suicidal thoughts, work with schools to train and support mental health champions and a young person?s guide to safeguarding for the city ? among many other projects.
We were blown away by the amount of work they do in our local community, especially with kids and young adults and how passionate they are about supporting people?s mental health. We will be supporting YMCA Right Here with:
- Updating and making improvements to their website
- A cohesive content and digital marketing plan
- SEO and Social Media Training
Little Green Pig
Little Green Pig is a writing and mentoring charity for children and young people in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. They give young people time and space to get creative with words through different writing programmes in/out of school. They?ve targeted their recent work at children experiencing the greatest disadvantage, because they believe every child has a right to write, regardless of wealth or background.

They have published a children?s ?adventurous? guide to Brighton & Hove and a book about stories inspired by the Barge at The Marina and a collection both written by children.
We loved their enthusiasm and impact on children?s lives, because as Little Green Pig say, writing means being heard ? and being heard increases self-esteem and encourages children to aim high ? and we couldn?t agree more on how important this is! We will be supporting Little Green Pig with:
- SEO and Social Media Training
- A cohesive content and digital marketing plan
- Branding their internal/external communication assets
