The Brief:
Rebecca Campbell Photography is the labour of love of Bex, a successful Sussex wedding photographer who has a big personality that she felt wasn’t coming across through her branding, website design and social.
Following a successful branding workshop, we were tasked to add colour and personality to the website while improving the user experience. We were also asked to create a branding pack – equipping Bex with everything from business cards to gift vouchers and branded USBs.
The Approach:
Our first step was designing Bex’s vibrancy into her brand. We created a secondary colour alongside a more refined approach to fonts. The light green reflected the tones of her photography as well as the natural settings of Sussex she enjoys. We decided a light touch was best, using the colour to flag calls to action and ease navigation.
For the website, we created new functionality with two-page templates for Bex’s portfolio and testimonials. These pages were created to demonstrate her approach to photography at a glance and to celebrate the amazing feedback she receives.?We reviewed the key pages in terms of user experience and created improved calls to action designed to enhance the journey and increase clicks to the contact page.
We?re happy to say that Bex was thrilled with every stage of website design and development and we hope to work with her for a very long time.
