The Brief:

Since launch in 1998 To Tuscany have prided themselves on being able to connect their clients with the best villa owners in the most beautiful part of Italy. The service offered by the To Tuscany team is tailored to the individual meaning the experience you receive is second to none!

To Tuscany have been a long standing client of ours and during one of our monthly meeting the team came to us with a problem. They had found emails that were sent to some villa owners were being missed/lost in inboxes. After lengthy discussions it was clear every villa owner never put down their phones? this then made our solution clear an app was needed!

It was agreed an app would be a great way to notify a villa owner of an update to their villa, bookings, updates & general To Tuscany news.

The Approach:

Our first step to the project was to better understand the services and messages that a villa owner would need, such as: new bookings, cleaner updates, annual calendar overview & past bookings etc.

Once the requirements were understood we then began our build of the wireframes highlighting key functionality & interactions throughout. Whilst working with the in-house To Tuscany team we progressed the design & UI until we were happy to proceed from digital design into development.

Having been involved in the meetings leading up to the development of the app, our developers were eager to get their hands on the code? and once again the team did not disappoint! The app from the first iteration looked fantastic and during a soft-launch we allowed a few villa owners to test & feedback – we were pleased to hear all owners loved the app loved the new tool.

Since launch the continued feedback we’ve had from owners & the To Tuscany team has been fantastic and with continued feature updates we’ve seen the app go from strength to strength.
